Description
With grapes from the Agter-Paarl region, MAN crafts a stylish Chenin Blanc that expresses the maturity of the 25+ year old vines as well as the minerality of the Malmesbury Shale soils. The uniqueness of MAN’s Chenin is also due, in part, to bush-vine trellising and the use of 100% press free-run, which is often set aside solely for winemakers’ special Reserve wines.
MAN Chenin Blanc is a crisp, light Chenin with beautiful, bright acidity and a hint of spiciness. Flavors of stone fruit and apple mingle with aromas of quince and pear, giving the wine it’s blossoming fruit notes, unhindered by oak aging. It’s round mouthfeel, developed from an extended gross lees aging, balances out the acidity, making it a perfect and versatile food-friendly wine.
